Astrodymium M54x1 female threaded dust cap (#M54x1F-CAP) is made for various M54x1 male threaded astronomy accessories. However, note that this is NOT compatible with the more common M54x0.75 threads on cameras and accessories from QHY, ZWO, and others. Thread length is 4mm. Outside gripping surface is smooth (not knurled).
This product is made out of UV resistant PETG plastic and can handle temperatures up to 70°C (158°F) without deformation.
All Astrodymium caps & plugs are tested for a good fit on reference metal threads.
