US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:

Free shipping does not apply to international orders. During check-out, you will be presented with several shipping choices and costs. However, the export of some items may be restricted outside the US due to size or manufacturer restrictions.
Time and again it happens that a 1.25" filter or another part (Barlow lenses, reducers) with a 1¼" filter thread has to be mounted in the path of light of a larger telescope. This is the purpose of this filter holder, which consists of the four components:
- Baader T-2 Conversion Ring (# 2958110)
- Baader Double T-Filterholder 1¼" (# 1508030)
- T-2 Fine-Adjustment ring 1mm (gold) - Aluminium (# 2457913)
- Baader Expanding Ring T-2f / M48m (T-2 part #29) (# 2458110)
The Double T-Filterholder accepts common 1¼" filters, as well as, for example, the Q-Barlow lens (please note that this Barlow can only be screwed in about a quarter turn due to technical production characteristics).
When combined with the T-2 Conversion Ring, you get a filter holder that can be screwed between any two T-2 part and has an overall length of 10 mm. In combination with parts with 3 mm long T-2-threads, it sits flush; for parts with 5 mm long threads, a T-2 Fine-Adjustment ring 1mm (gold) – Aluminium (# 2457913) is also included so that all components sit flush against each other. This allows 1.25" filters or Barlow lenses/reducers with standard 1¼" filter threads to be permanently inserted even in front of accessories that are screwed to the telescope via T-2 threads to prevent them from tilting - be it heavy eyepieces, cameras with filter wheels or an ADC. By installing the filter holder facing one side or the other to the telescope, the distance from filter/barlow to camera/eyepiece can also be changed a little bit.
With the Expanding Ring T-2f / M48m, the adapter can also be used in any 2" filter thread. Although this leads to vignetting on long focal length wide-angle eyepieces, it allows, for example, the use of a 1.25" filter (or a Blaze grating) on 2" eyepieces or on cameras with a fixed 2" filter thread (and a sufficiently small sensor) on which the Baader 1¼" / T-2 plug-in connection with Safety Kerfs # 2458106 cannot be used or if a screw connection to the telescope is preferred.
