All items we sell ship for free within the Contiguous US. Shipping will be via the cheapest shipping method which will vary depending on the items in your order. During checkout, you may also be shown other optional faster shipping choices.
US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:
Free shipping applies to almost all products. A few large telescopes and mounts are excluded from this free shipping offer. For these items, please contact us to obtain a shipping quote before you check out using the online shopping cart.
International Customers:
Free shipping does not apply to international orders. During check-out, you will be presented with several shipping choices and costs. However, the export of some items may be restricted outside the US due to size or manufacturer restrictions.
Collimate your Catadioptric or Newtonian reflector style telescopes without tools!
It's easy...just grab a Bob's Knob collimation thumbscrew and turn. You can even do it while looking through the eyepiece on most scopes. These thumbscrews are also much easier to use with gloves on. And perhaps most importantly, you'll never drop that pesky little Allen wrench or screwdriver into the grass again. Installation is a snap with the included instructions, and you can undo the modification at any time.

Fits: Meade 8" (20 cm) f/10 SCT versions with three screws on the secondary housing (2080, LX5, LX10, LX50, LX90, LX100, LX200, others)
Knobs: Black plastic, 13 mm (1/2") diameter
Threads: Black anodized aluminum alloy
Notes:
- The factory dust cover may contact the knobs when installed. We provide a set of spacers that attach to the inside of the dust cover to move it slightly away from the secondary assembly. You can also press the center of the cover from the inside to contour it for additional clearance.
- Some post-2004 Meade 8" telescopes have four screws or six screws on the secondary housing. The 4-screw and 6-screw secondary require different knobs (Items M8-4 and M8-6) Do not use knobs for the 3-screw secondary on the 4-screw or 6-screw secondary. The screws on 3-screw knobs are too short.
- Some very early Meade 8" model 2080 telescopes have two collimation screws. Please contact us for knobs to fit this scope.
- An Allen wrench for removing the factory collimation screws is included with your order.
