All items we sell ship for free within the Contiguous US. Shipping will be via the cheapest shipping method which will vary depending on the items in your order. During checkout, you may also be shown other optional faster shipping choices.
US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:
Free shipping applies to almost all products. A few large telescopes and mounts are excluded from this free shipping offer. For these items, please contact us to obtain a shipping quote before you check out using the online shopping cart.
International Customers:
Free shipping does not apply to international orders. During check-out, you will be presented with several shipping choices and costs. However, the export of some items may be restricted outside the US due to size or manufacturer restrictions.
Collimate your Catadioptric or Newtonian reflector style telescopes without tools!
It's easy....just grab a Bob's Knob collimation thumbscrew and turn. You cane ven do it while looking through the eyepiece on most scopes. These thumbscrews are also much easier to use with gloves on. And perhaps the most importantly, you'll never drop that pesky little Allen wrench or screwdriver into the grass agin. Installation is a snap with the included intructions an you can undo the modifications any time.

Fits: Meade 6" (15 cm) f/5 Schmidt-Newtonian versions (usually LXD-55 or LXD-75 mount). Will not fit the older MTS6 Schmidt-Newt.
Knobs: Black plastic, 13 mm (1/2") diameter
Threads: Stainless steel
Notes:
- These knobs will fit models with the deep dish secondary (see second photo). They will NOT fit the older models with the flat secondary.
- The factory dust cover will fit normally with Bob's Knobs installed.
- The Knobs sit above the lip of the secondary housing for easy access.
- The factory collimation screw cover must be removed and set aside when Bob' Knobs are installed. The cover is a comsetic only and will not affect operation of the scope.
