The 72mm Bino One Spotting Scope from Founder Optics features an integrated binoviewer for comfortable ‘two eyed’ viewing of terrestrial and celestial objects. The ED doublet objective lens (with Ohara FPL-53 glass) delivers sharp and bright images that are free of false color. The linear divergent binoviewer offers comfortable and fatigue-free visual observation with a ‘3D’ effect that makes binoviewing so enjoyable. This little spotting scope is ideal for cruising the Milky Way, observing the moon and planets, or for bird watching and nature observation.
The Bino One Spotting Scope includes a pair of Founder Optics ALIEN eyepieces with 12.5mm focal length, 55-degree apparent field of view, multi-coated optics, and 20mm eye relief. These eyepieces deliver a magnification of 35x. You can also use your own 1.25” matched eyepiece pairs (sold separately).
The integrated binoviewers include an eyepiece twist lock mechanism to make it easy to insert and securely hold each eyepiece. The linear system used to adjust the interpupillary distance (IPD) offers a smooth and precise feel, and IPD is adjustable from 58mm to 74mm. The binoviewer body includes a scale for quickly adjusting the IPD for multiple users. A rotatable focuser ring makes it easy to reach focus, and the binoviewer also includes a diopter focusing ring to ensure sharp focus with each eye.
The Bino One Spotting Scope features an integrated diagonal that orients the binoviewer and eyepieces at a 45-degree angle for terrestrial and celestial observation. It also includes:
- An easy-to-use rotate function that lets the user adjust the binoviewer orientation.
- A robust and attractive lens cap that attaches to the optical tube
- A Vixen-style dovetail plate with 1/4''-20 threaded holes to attach on the photographic tripod.
- An attractive logo plate with a lasered serial number for better tracking of every unit for quality control by manufacturer
- Sturdy carrying case with high-density foam to protect the scope and eyepieces, with room for more eyepiece pairs.
