iOptron 7nm Oxygen III Narrowband Filter - 1.25"
Introducing the improved iOptron narrowband OIII (Oxygen III) filter, designed for nebula observation or CCD imaging! This filter isolates light at 500.7 nm and 495.9 nm, and is a blue-green color. Many images of planetary nebulae and supernova remnants are taken with H-alpha and OIII filters! They show strong structural details while maintaining natural colors that appear like an RGB image. Isolating only OIII emissions reduces artificial light, including mercury vapor that causes light pollution. This minimizes unwanted skyglow and helps manage light pollution interference, making your nebula images sharper and more contrast-rich.
