All items we sell ship for free within the Contiguous US. Shipping will be via the cheapest shipping method which will vary depending on the items in your order. During checkout, you may also be shown other optional faster shipping choices.
US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:
Free shipping applies to almost all products. A few large telescopes and mounts are excluded from this free shipping offer. For these items, please contact us to obtain a shipping quote before you check out using the online shopping cart.
International Customers:
Free shipping does not apply to international orders. During check-out, you will be presented with several shipping choices and costs. However, the export of some items may be restricted outside the US due to size or manufacturer restrictions.
Pegasus Astro's new high quality Indigo Filter Wheel # PEG-INDIGOFW7-2 has a 7 position carousel and can house 2inch mounted or 50mm unmounted filters.
One Cable Operation
Filter Wheel requires a USB2 (TypeB) cable only. This simplifies the connectivity as it does not require a separate power supply when used with USB control.
Accurate Filter Selection
Carousel has seven (7) slots and accepts 2inch mounted or 50mm unmounted filters.
Filter Wheel rotates clock or counter clockwise direction for filter selection. A combination of a direct drive stepper motor and optical encoders ensure that your filter selection is precise, dead accurate on every filter location. Filter Wheel takes the shortest path when moving from one filter to another.
Thin Design
The body of the Indigo filter wheel is aluminium CNC milled. High quality aluminium alloy allowed us to design the filter wheel as thin as possible (19.0mm, 19.6mm with adapters installed on both sides).
Orientation on Both Adapters
Both sides of the filter wheel have M54 openings. The screw slide adapter (see fifth photo above) allows you to properly align the orientation of your camera or telescope side. Just untie the screws and rotate the adapter to the desired orientation.
Camera Connection
The 6 screw holes on the camera side allows direct connection with astronomical cameras that follow the same 6 x hole pattern (62mm diameter pattern). A neat feature allowing you to reduce the total backfocus instead of placing adapters.
