US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:

This USB cable converts DC 5V to 8V which is suitable to power your DSLR or Mirrorless camera when used with one of Pegasus Astro's DC Battery Couplers (sold separately).
Important note: This converter needs at least a 1.5 Amp USB socket. A standard USB2 socket can only provide 500mA and its available current might not be sufficient for the latest digital cameras.
This is a great item to power your camera with Pegasus' new USB Control Hub (UCH). This converter can also be used with the Pegasus UPB (v1 only) which does not have an 8V port (for DSLR output). Connect this only to the 6th port of the Ultimate Power Box which can provide up to 3A of current.
You do not need this item for the Pegasus PPB or UPB (v2) as these already have a variable 8V DC output that you can power your camera directly from.
