US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:
Free shipping applies to almost all products. A few large telescopes and mounts are excluded from this free shipping offer. For these items, please contact us to obtain a shipping quote before you check out using the online shopping cart.
International Customers:
Free shipping does not apply to international orders. During check-out, you will be presented with several shipping choices and costs. However, the export of some items may be restricted outside the US due to size or manufacturer restrictions.
Adapter # PEG-ADAPT101-EQ6 to connect to NYX-101 Mount to various tripods/piers.
The adapter can be used to easily construct a 180mm (7") half pier extension along with two of the following parts (purchased separately):
- Aluminum Standoffs (3 pcs) # PEG-ADAPT101-STDOFF
- Carbon Tripod Adapter (comes along with the Carbon Tripod # PEG-TRPD101)
Note 1: If you do not own the carbon tripod, then the EQ6 / Universal Tripod Adapter can be doubled to assemble the half-pier extension.
Note 2: A total of 6 standoffs can be used to increase half pier stabilit
Assembly/Usage Scenarios:
You also have the option to discard the pier extender and place the NYX-101 directly on a tripod/pier by using only the EQ6 / Universal Adapter # PEG-ADAPT101-EQ6. This scenario is most appropriate when you have a small refractor setup that does not require a pier extender
