Super Performance
The Sony Exmor IMX094 CMOS sensor is also found in the Nikon D800/810 DSLR cameras. This sensor is implemented in the QHY367C Pro specifically for astronomical use with QHYCCD thermal noise reduction technology. With read noise as low as 2.4e-, full well capacity of 56ke-, and 14-bit A/D, the camera has a dynamic range of more than 14 stops.
Output
Many cameras claim to output RAW image files, but there is often still some internal processing performed on the image. This can have a negative effect on the image for astronomy such as the "star eater" effect. QHY367C Pro outputs TRUE RAW data, preserving the original data for maximum compatibility with astronomical imaging processing programs and other scientific imaging applications.
Ultra Low Dark Current
In addition to dual stage TE cooling, QHYCCD implements proprietary technology in hardware to control the dark current noise. As a result the dark current of this camera is a remarkable 0.0015e-/p/s at -15C.
AR Optical Window
The optical window has high quality AR+AR multi-layer coatings. In addition the sensor surface is AR coated, all of which significantly reduces halos around bright stars. IR blocking is not present, so that the cameras can be used with maximum sensitivity to H-alpha and near IR when desired, or a simple IR blocking filter (L filter) can be attached for typical RGB imaging with IR cut.
Zero Amp Glow
With the QHYCCD anti-amp glow technology, the QHY367C exhibits zero amplifier glow, even in long exposures. This makes long exposures of DSOs possible and easier to process. There are only a few CMOS cameras that can achieve zero amplifier glow results. The QHY367C is one.

- Power Consumption: ~ 30 Watts @ 100% TEC. 13 Watts @ 50%TEC
Note:
The IMX094 sensor, which is equipped in QHY367C, has a different structure: a special cover glass is glued on the surface of the sensor. Therefore, we had to choose the low temperature reflow soldering before because the glue can be easily destoried under standard reflow soldering temperature. However, low-temperature reflow slodering method may lead to a potential risk: CMOS sensor might be loosed from PCB board after using a long period of time, and no image can come out then. Though this problem does not usually happen, the risk does exist.
Now we have sloved the issue. We redesigned the CMOS sensor structure and use the Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) to replace the previous PCB. This FPC is very small and it allows us to seal the CMOS sensor manually instead of standard reflow soldering.
