The Sharpstar 0.84x reducer # 50EDPH-FR-0.84X is optimized for the Sharpstar 50EDPH and can provide additional imaging possibilities.
The 0.84x reducer can bring Sharpstar 50EDPH's focal ratio down to f/4.6. This is a standard reducer with field flattening capabilities as well. A shorter focal ratio allows the OTA to have a wider field of view and faster exposure times, making it suitable for capturing large areas of the Milky Way including nebulae, star clusters, and faint, fast-moving celestial objects.
The CNC machined 0.84x reducer adopts a quadruplet design and supports an APS-C frame size. The overall weight is 0.24kg (0.53lbs). The back focus from the M48 thread is a standard 55mm. The front thread is M42x1 and the camera end thread is M48x0.75, it is also threaded for 2" filters. Threaded metal dust caps protect the glass when not in use.
