The Starfield ED80 f/6 Triplet APO will take your wide field imaging game to new levels. Using FPL53 (Ohara, Japan) optics, this telescope comes standard with heavy duty rings, extra long vixen style dovetail, and a handle designed to mount accessories.
Includes 2.5" rack and pinion two speed focuser and a retractable dew shield. To make your imaging experience even better, the camera angle adjuster will let you frame up your object easily without adding flex or changing your focuser position.
Multicoated optics are standard and each Gėar series telescope comes with a hard case and optical test report.

- Image free of chromatic error due to "Extra-Low-Dispersion" FPL53 apo element from Ohara (Japan). Achieving better chromatic correction than comparable apochromats
- Internally baffled to prevent stray light and get the contrast you would expect from performance refractors.
- 2.5" two speed rack and pinion focuser that is also fully rotatable. Optional EAF motor focusers can easily be installed. Self centering rotational lock. No setscrews to come loose. Supports heavier camera loads and accessories.
- Supports 2" and 1.25" eyepiece accessories
- HD CNC tube rings and Vixen style dovetail bar
