Tele Vue's Short 2" SCT Adapter # ACS-0004 allows you to use 2" star / refractor type diagonals with your SCT telescope. It attaches to the standard male SCT thread (2" dia x 24TPI) found on the rear of many SCT telescopes and converts it into a 2" barrel into which you can insert your diagonal.
For use with the new Short Everbrite Diagonal. Where SCT fork swing-through clearance is an issue, such as on the Meade LX90-SC, use this Short SCT Adapter and Short Everbrite 2" Diagonal to gain 0.7" of clearance. This adapter (new version) features a brass compression ring so that inserted diagonals are not marred by set screw marks, and dual large locking thumbscrews with thread extensions on the sides of the adapter to minimize the risk of the screws falling out.
