US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:

Free shipping does not apply to international orders. During check-out, you will be presented with several shipping choices and costs. However, the export of some items may be restricted outside the US due to size or manufacturer restrictions.
A. About Thousand Oaks Dew Heater Bands
Thousand Oaks' dew heater strips are available in 9 lengths to suit most astronomy applications.
Each heater band has a velcro strip on one side for attachment. Each heater comes with a standard four foot cord for operation from a 12V power supply source. The standard RCA phono-plug male connector used is compatible with Dew Not, Thousand Oaks, Kendrick, Dew-Buster, and most other commercially available dew system controllers.
B. Selecting a Thousand Oaks Dew Heater
Heater bands are available for many popular sized eyepieces and telescopes. To select the right dew heater for your scope, measure the circumference of your eyepiece, finderscope, or telescope tube (or measure the tube diameter - not telescope aperture - and multiply by 3.14) and pick one of the models based on length from the table below. For in-between sizes, choose the next larger size of dew heater. A special model is also available for use with the Telrad Reflex Finder (needs to be attached with rubber bands (not included)).
C. Recommended Accessories
Optional cigarette lighter adapters can be purchased from other sources that will allow you to power the dew heater from a 12 volt power source. For controlling several Dew-Not strips from a single source, or to vary the power output, you can consider the optional Thousand Oaks Four-Channel Digital Dew Controller (Model DDHC).
