US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:

Increase mount height for visual observations
If you observe visually with a long focal length refractor, the eyepiece will be positioned quite low when the telescope is pointed high in the sky. With the Pier Extension, you can easily increase the pier height by 200 mm/8". If you want an even higher pier more Pier Extensions can be stacked.
Extremely fast and easy setup
The Pier Extension attaches to the pier with the quick lock Pier Adapter in a matter of seconds with the flick of a finger. The quick lock Pier Adapter attaches the mount head to the pier.
Installation on the mount head
The Pier Adapter is installed on the mount head and stays there. It matches the TTS-160 Panther mount head but can also be installed on German equatorial mounts to be used with the TTS-160 Folding Pier.
