Wanderer Dew Terminator - A Compact and powerful 3-channel dew heater/DC controller
WandererAstro's intelligent closed-loop control solution based on ambient dew point temperature and dew heater temperature provides the most scientific and effective dew heater control, which keeps your lens dry while avoiding overheating and energy waste. You can also use it as a DC hub or DC switch.
Power
Maximum 8A input. 3 always on DC output. 3 independent PWM/DC switches.
You can set the working mode of the three PWM ports independently in the ASCOM driver. There are two working modes: Dew Heater and Switch. The former supports 255-level PWM power adjustment, while the latter allows the DC port to work as a normal switch.
For example, if you have three dew heaters to control, set all three DC ports to Dew Heater mode. If you only have one dew heater, set one DC port to Dew Heater mode and the other two to Switch mode so that you can connect other devices (such as cameras, WandererCovers) to the other two DC ports.
All sensors included. Independent control for up to 3 dew heaters.
The three temperature probes can be used to measure the temperature of the three dew heaters respectively.
The temperature and humidity sensor is used to measure the ambient temperature and humidity and calculate the dew point temperature.
Automatic and intelligent Dew Heater Control
- Manual control: Manually adjust the duty cycle of the PWM port to control the power of the dew heater(0-255).
- Constant temperature control: WandererBox will keep the dew heater temperature constant at the set value.
- Dew point temperature difference mode: WandererBox will regulate the temperature of the dew heater to maintain a fixed value higher than the dew point. It saves power and prevents condensation effectively. It also ensures that the dew heater does not overheat, ensuring good image quality.
Mounting
M6 and M4 threaded holes on the bottom. Easy to install.
You can use our Mini Dovetail Plate to secure the Wanderer Dew Terminator to your dovetail slot.
You can also use screws to fix it to a dovetail board or any structure with holes.

The size is only 7.4*5.3*2.3 cm and weighs less than 100g.
