US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:

Wanderer White Dwarf - Lightweight handheld manual flat panel
- Inspired by racing brake calipers, the Wanderer White Dwarf has a stunning appearance design. Made of carbon fiber + aluminum alloy.
- Reliable DC5521 power input port and hollow handle design.
- Ultra-high flat light brightness. Less than 1s for 3nm Ha in F7. No flicker!
- Dimmer with two levels of voltage combined with stepless knob dimming makes the dimming range reach about 10 F stops.

Please note:
- The White Dwarf is not ASCOM compatible. It is a manual flat panel that requires users to adjust the brightness using the physical knob on the dimmer. It cannot be controlled via ASCOM or any software interface.
- Traditional flat panels will produce a flicker when dimming so exposure times need to be greater than 1 second in order to avoid banding. The Wanderer Cover uses ultra-high frequency dimming of more than tens of kilohertz so exposure times as short as 0.05 seconds will not produce banding. Modern CMOS cameras do not require flats to be exposed for more than 1 second and any recommendation of using longer exposures is going to be based on the performance of traditional flat panels. The Wanderer Cover was designed to have a higher brightness in order to allow for shorter exposure times with narrowband filters. Additionally, short exposure flats can also make dark flats unnecessary so you can use a standard bias frame instead.
