US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:

New, dedicated flattener by William Optics optimized and only for use with their GS61 Apo telescope/guidescope.
Optically, this is the same as the William Optics FLAT61A flattener used with their Z61 telescope. However, this guidescope flattener is shorter, lighter and designed to reach focus with the new GS61 guidescope (the FLAT61A will not reach focus with the GS61 guidescope). It does not feature the built-in camera angle adjuster since rotation can be accomplished with the rotating drawtube of the GS61 instead.
On the telescope side, this flattener has a male M54 thread for direct connection to the focuser drawtube (this requires you to unscrew the 2" eyepiece holder ring on the telescope to expose the M54 female thread inside the drawtube).
On the camera side, the flattener has a male M48x0.75 thread. You can use your DSLR directly with the use of an optional M48 camera-specific wide T-ring (sold separately). Please note that this cannot be used with the smaller 42mm T rings. Note also that this item does not have a conventional 2" nosepiece or eyepiece holder. It is for direct connection of a camera to the William Optics GS61 guidescope only. True 1:1 flattener with no reduction. Weighs X oz.
