US Customers in Hawaii and Alaska:
Free shipping applies to almost all products. A few large telescopes and mounts are excluded from this free shipping offer. For these items, please contact us to obtain a shipping quote before you check out using the online shopping cart.
International Customers:
Free shipping does not apply to international orders. During check-out, you will be presented with several shipping choices and costs. However, the export of some items may be restricted outside the US due to size or manufacturer restrictions.
Please note: The ZWO Dew Heater no longer includes the thin spacers that were included earier.
The anti-dew heater strip is used for anti-dew on the front window of the ASI cooled cameras.
This kit includes the zip-tie, anti-dew heater strip , an Y power cord and two spacers
The thickness of the anti-dew heater strip is 0.2~0.3mm.
The "Y" power cord is designed to connect in-line with the cooler power supply for convenience.
And we recommends 12V at 0.35A DC adapter where the heating power on the strip is ~4.2 watts. You can use one and same power cord to power both the fan and heater simultaneously, but make sure not to exceed recommended amount of Ampere.
Instructions:
1. Tear out the protective film on adhesive tape
2. Put the anti-dew heater strip on the front facing of the camera and make sure the black cable is in the right position (lining next to the DC plug at the rear end)
3. Tie the black cable with a zip-tie on the camera body.
4. Plug in the power cord, then everything is done.
NOTICE: Be careful about welding portion, it is vulnerable can not holding very strong pull.
